Mary Waguespack from OWLS and Victoria Elmwood from Monroe Library will team up to teach a seminar on avoiding plagiarism and using proper academic documentation for research projects. The session will involve active learning in which students will apply ideas presented in the first part to a set of sample cases for the second part. We'll cover basic principles of academic integrity, how to cite your sources, and how to quote or paraphrase correctly.
