Located on the third floor of the Monroe Library, Special Collections and Archives preserves materials related to the history of Louisiana and the South, the Society of Jesus, and Loyola University New Orleans. The Reading Room will be closed to all researchers (visiting researchers and Loyola community) for the foreseeable future. To help mitigate the loss of in-person research, we will offer expanded scanning options for research requests. Given limited in-person staffing, the requests will be fulfilled at our discretion and on a flexible time frame.
