About Us
Media Services is responsible for instructional technology equipment throughout the campus. We design and support presentation systems around campus and in library classrooms and meeting rooms. We also help faculty with online teaching and communication using web conferencing equipment and services. We also loan portable equipment and provide audio recordings for meetings.
Library Meeting and Classrooms
The Monroe Library has classrooms and meeting rooms that offer the latest in presentation technology.
Portable Equipment
Media Services loans a variety of equipment to faculty, students, and staff.
Web Conferencing
Media Services provides equipment and assistance for anyone who wants to communicate with Zoom, Blackboard Collaborate, Google Meet, Skype, etc. for classes or meetings.
Classroom Equipment
Media Services oversees the equipment in many classrooms around campus, including the Pool Classrooms and the Monroe Hall Department Classrooms.
More Resources
We also manage and provide training for Loyola's student response system, iClicker. We offer media duplication upon request. We maintain the Digital Media Workstation on the first floor of the Monroe Library. Be sure to check out our policies on equipment loans and student use of library meeting rooms.
Media Duplication
Media Services can duplicate to and from various video and audio formats and a variety of digital file types.
Digital Media Workstations
Four iMacs and four PCs are available in the library with a variety of software for creating or editing digital media.
iClickers
Media Services oversees iClicker administration, faculty training, and support.
Our Policies and Fines
Equipment and room requests must be made at least two business days prior to the reservation start date.
