The Monroe Library offers self-printing services in compliance with Loyola University's Policy on Responsible Use of University Computing Resources.
Currently enrolled Loyola students, faculty, and staff can print in black & white at no charge from the Learning Commons computers, following responsible printing guidelines:
- Printing of articles, reserve materials, and other material that supports Loyola course assignments, academic projects, and research is permitted.
- Printing entire e-books is not permitted. E-books may be accessed remotely from your home computer.
- Printing handouts, flyers, invitations, advertisements, and announcements is not permitted. Printing multiple copies of material is not permitted.
- The printers can only print on letter-sized paper. Attempting to print documents in any format other than letter size will cause the printers to malfunction.
Color and black & white printing and photocopying are available at a per-page charge to members of the Loyola community as well as the public. The cost for color is $0.20 a page and the cost for black & white is $0.05 cents a page. These charges can only be paid through the PaperCut system. PaperCut vouchers can be purchased at the Circulation Desk. More information, as well as instructions for resetting your PaperCut password, can be found on the Bursar's Office webpage.
If a printer is malfunctioning, please alert the staff in the print room or at the Circulation Desk. Do not attempt to fix the problem yourself.
